About mid-morning today I got a call from K. She was checking on me to see how I was doing this week. She and her hubby M wanted to take me to lunch. Lovely! We went here where we all three dined on lemon-pepper salmon wraps and Asian slaw. Yummo!
Surely that's enough for any girl to handle, a lovely lunch at a lovely place with lovely folks. But as we were leaving the restaurant, we stopped by Macy's and they were giving away cosmetic products. Yes, I said giving away products. K and I were sure there was something there we could use. So with a quick stroke of our signatures, we were offered one free item, from a table oozing with yummy creams, lotions and cosmetics. My choice was the Clinique Moisture Surge. It came highly recommended from K, and I definitely need more surging of moisture in the arid climate in which I now live. And I'm definitely not paying the SRP anytime soon!

Wow! Sounds like you did have a good day! Sheesh! The more you talk about that "arid land" in which you now live, the better it sounds! Are you sure there's no marketing jobs up there?
