Hoopfest 2011...The Prequel

My computer seems to be moving extraordinarily slow this morning.  So this one photo is all you get of our trip to Spokane!  At least for now.  This is the river that runs through downtown Spokane.  Of course there are tens of thousands of people that you cannot see in this photo, that also run through downtown Spokane during Hoopfest. 

You'll just have to check back.

The Last Two Weeks

It's been a fast and furious two weeks.  I am so glad it's summer, but you would really think things would slow down, right?  

1.  Jim enjoyed a week-long MO/OK visit.

2.  Andrew returns from Germany earlier than planned.

3.  David's 3-on-3 team wins Bozemania tournament.

4.  Grace is treated for spring flu.

6.  Andrew is re-hired at Barnes and Noble.

Making plans?

7.  Emily's Coffee Pot closes for three-week remodeling.

8.  Two weekends of Man Clubbers complete our Addition siding.

Yes, the Addition siding is a different color...paint will follow.

9.  Addition electrical jobs complete/ Trim in progress/ Carpet ordered.

10. Grace starts job at Camp Agape.

Moving Slow

It's a rainy Saturday morning, and I'm doing my favorite thing I like to do on Saturday mornings; moving slow.  I got to spend time with Jim before he rushed off to his Saturday morning. 
We laid in bed. 
I listened to the rain. 
We talked about sons. 
We planned how much room I would have to send gifts to Oklahoma in his back pack.

He left for work, only after discovering our iron decided to up and quit.

I got a ladder and razor blade to scrape the contact paper off our arch window, but that awesome man of mine had secured the blind properly to the window sill so I couldn't get to the contact paper.  That's ok though, as long as the blind is properly secured, I will never see that ugalee contact paper again.

I am checking all-things-web-important-to-me and will shortly wake Grace to go to two Rummage Sales.  In the rain.

Straw Comes in All Shapes

1.    Had to search for the painters.
2.    Need to paint the ceilings.
3.    Fussy painter.
4.    Yelling in room.
5.    Too many helpers.
6.    Borrowed extension rod breaks.
7.    Running out of paint.
8.    Sore neck and shoulders.
9.    Siblings bickering.
10.  Cry on bed.

A Week in Photos

Dave had his last track meet on Friday.  He is the one on the outside lane, in front.  I took this photo because I love the view of the Bridgers from the stands. 

 There were three weddings this weekend with EFree families.  

We attended this one, Josh and Lindsay.

Both of their fathers took part in the ceremony.

Although you can't really see it in this photo, her colors were plum and gold.
