The Week in Review

Wednesday night found us wondering closed Main Street for Bite of Bozeman.Kind of a Taste of Chicago, but without the heat and the gangs.

Said Main Street

Live music here apparently includes blowing into a jug.

Live music here also may include your 10-year-old son named Rhythm.

Bozeman is a Biker Friendly Community. Take a look at these bikes!
They are not your I'm-cool-look-at-my-neato-bike kind of bikes.
People here ride the I'm-going-to-the-store-and-need-baskets-hanging-off-my-bike kind of bikes. I've seen these bikes priced in the $700-$800 range.

Just one of the may offerings of local delicacies offered at The Bite.

In other news, this is the bowl of raspberries I picked off our bushes one night.

Thursday we went to an open-air concert in Big Sky!

The Jeni Fleming Trio included six people. We didn't ask.

This was our concert hall. Lovely!

And this is me and my favorite husband!

Can't wait to see what this next week has to offer!

(Okay, why are there boxes around my photos?!)

What a fun looking town, I love events like that too and oh, your trip to Yellowstone!!! Can I come and visit. :)

Jason isn't too far from you guys right now. He is on a week long backpacking trip at Wind Rivers Wyoming!

You make me want to move to Montana. I thought there was nothing in Montana! Saw Bethany tonight, very briefly, in sweltering 100 degree heat at NLR.

Hey whats wrong with the heat and gangs in Chicago, it adds to the experience! :-) Looks like you had a great time! Love keeping up with you on your blog!

A few comments on said pics:
#1-Blowing into a jug to make music takes quite an enormous lung capacity.
#2-Are we to expect future blogs to include pics of you and Jim on these "Basket-toting" bikes?
#3-PLEASE send me some raspberries! New Mexico deserts do not offer such delicacies (well they do...for $6/pint).
#4-Does this "Jennie Fleming" have a top on??
#5-I have a favorite husband, too.

#2: Please refer once again to the description of these bikes. The $700-$800 price range insures that Jim and I will not be riding these bikes!
#4: I am unsure what the artsy photo actually displays. Possibly a topless Jeni. But I assure you that she was wearing a top at the concert, and added a shawl even, as the temperature dropped to a delicious 70 degrees!

Your favorite husband, Jim? As opposed to your not-so-favorite husband, George? Oh dear, our pastor and his wife have gone wild away from the safe bosom of Arkansas!

How far are you from Wyoming? Casey's fam lives on the extreme east corner of Wyoming and in the extreme northwest corner of Nebraska--maybe we need to plan a trip to visit you guys when we are out west next. (Kind of rein you in and remind you what the Bible says about bigamy . . . ) hehe

I'm loving your blog. You are such a great writer. Just have to mention that I know the people on the bikes! Paul and Camille Lindsey and I'm not sure what they spent on them but they are good about riding their bikes everywhere. I'm trying to get better at it but it's hard when you know you have a big hill at the end of your ride!
